“One of our favorite holiday traditions is the Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade. If you are visiting the desert in early December, this is such a fun night downtown. Palm Canyon Drive turns into a festive wonderland with beautifully lit floats, high-energy marching bands, giant holiday balloons and Santa. Get there early, find a good spot along Palm Canyon, and make an evening of it with dinner or a cocktail before the parade begins. Bring a light jacket and a little holiday spirit. The parade is held on the first Saturday in December and draws a big crowd, so arriving early is absolutely worth it.”
